    Load all the clips in to VJamm, I always have my acapella parts at the right hand end of the clips slots and my musical clips at the left because for this use I use VJamm with ‘current trigger to front’ unchecked as I want the vocal parts to appear on top of the musical parts:

    Each video clip needs to be set to respond to the global bpm and also have the correct number of beats entered:

    The audio also needs muting as Live will take the role of playing the audio - whilst VJamm can play audio and video with a high accuracy we require a higher degree of flexibility with the audio so we need to set VJamm up to play as a silent video slave to Ableton Live. Mute each clip in the inspector and set up the midi input device to the 1st loop back device with the midi channel set to 1:

    ** Why go to the trouble of having AV loops? Well, we needed to cut them to the time of the audio anyway and this way these clips are future-proofed in what is an evolving technique. They will also be needed on lower powered computers.
